Meet Kanoko
Kanako has been a student of Yoga for over 20 years and has been teaching since 2006. She has been trained extensively in various styles of Yoga and has completed a number of different specialised training including Pre & Postnatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Senior Yoga and Yoga for Mental Health.
She has also worked internationally in many teacher trainings, retreats and workshops both as an interpreter (for Japanese groups) and as a teacher trainer.
She is passionate about Yoga for Everybody and supports students with all ages and abilities and particularly loves working with pregnant women as it is such an honour to be able to help them navigate through their special journey into parenthood.
About Kanako's Class:
Kanako’s class focuses on connecting with and tuning into the life rhythm of your own breath, which is connected to the life rhythm of your baby, and moving with that rhythm…slowly and mindfully.
With gentle opening and softening prenatal yoga poses, calming restful restorative poses and dynamic stabilising and energising movements combined with various breathing, mediation and relaxation practices, her prenatal yoga class offers a balanced nourishing practice for all stages of pregnancy.

Meet Emma
Hi I'm Emma, I'm mother of 2 teen girls, founder of Red Tent Yoga in Byron Bay, and teacher of pregnancy & postnatal yoga for almost 20 years. I am passionate about supporting pregnant women through their rite of passage of birth and into motherhood in a conscious and safe way.
My prenatal yoga classes are a well rounded combination of flowing postures, breathwork, meditation and birth preparation that offers a safe, grounded and relaxing practice for mothers-to-be to connect with self & their baby.
